Joshua gives the order to prepare to cross Jordan into the Promised Land. He brings up an old and serious matter with two and a half tribes and finds that they will honor their word to Moses with allegiance to Joshua.
Intro to Joshua
Moses the Servant of God, is dead. God now addresses Joshua, the man who will lead the people into the Promise Land. He will encourage him to be brave, to be a man of Scripture, and not turn away from it.
United Resistance
The day arrived for Satan to challenge God’s plan of resistance for His people. It did not matter to the enemy that God’s people could fight back, but it mattered enough to God’s people who fought back and prevailed.
Counteraction
God, having used Mordecai and Esther to remove Haman, the central figure in attempts to annihilate the Jews, now uses the duo again to enact counter measures to ensure that his plans are not implemented still.
Haman’s End
It is the day of queen Esther’s second banquet where she reveals to her husband the king, that it is Haman who has planned to kill and plunder all the Jewish people. Her revelation will lead to Haman’s execution.
