Likely the first published Gospel. Mark’s rapid delivery of events in the life of Christ make for one of the best ways to begin understanding the basis of Christianity. He gives us Jesus, the Perfect Servant, in action
Power and Glory Forever
The two final verses of Jude’s letter contain an outpouring of praise to the Lord which include blessings for those who love Him as Lord. He seals his letter with a fitting outburst of citations on God’s attributes.
Personal Love
Jude seals his work against deceptive teachers in verse sixteen. Then turns his attention to the beloved of Christ with these words, But you beloved. Earlier he spoke of personal punishments, now of personal love.
Personal Punishments
Jude’s warning to false teachers goes beyond criticism, carrying the solemn weight of eternal judgment and damnation. In this he is clear and unrelenting, notifying all that false teachers are twice dead and doomed.
Past Penalties
Jude roles out the penalties awaiting those who tamper with the believer and Christ’s churches by introducing a series of severe past penalties as precedence and warning to all corruptors.
