In 1Ch, the emphasis was on King David. In 2Ch it is on Judah’s kings, beginning with King Solomon. God will speak directly to Solomon, offering a choice of blessings. Solomon will heed David’s charge and ask for wisdom.

Last Days of David
King David gives his final thoughts, encouragements and example of loyalty to Solomon, the leaders, the nation and believers to this present day. David’s last days characterized by passion for building God’s house.
Don’t Do It!
There are five great warning passages in Hebrews: Heb 2:1–4; 3:7–4:13; 5:11–6:12; 10:19–39; 12:14–29. This one is the strongest warning in the letter, to not abandon or mingle the faith.
David Arranges Temple Duties (Part 2)
Musicians, gatekeepers and treasurers are organized for worship, temple duties and the kingdom. Then in chapter 27 David organizes the military divisions and overseers of agricultural resources.
