The prophet was deeply moved by his interaction with his God in spite of initial alarm, perplexity and frustration. His submission to God led to communion with God and from worry to worship.
The prophet was determine to submit and receive from God whatever God answered, and God did answer him.
The prophet complained to God that He was not doing enough to curb the wicked behavior of his countrymen. The answer God gave the prophet was unnerving.
