The glory of God’s holy city New Jerusalem, it has twelve foundations and twelve gates. All the gates are made of a single pearl. All of the saints are welcomed in this wondrous city and we will never be denied entrance. The Lord will be the light source and we will be with Him forever.
Damage Report
God’s wrath is on the unrighteous; Paul explains that unbelief has its consequences. God’s anger is at sin, but He has provided a solution, but some “Professing to be wise, have become fools” denying what God has clearly revealed about Himself.
Spiritual Defiance
Paul states “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ…” There is a lot to unpack in that statement. Paul lays out a pathway for believers to follow, reminding us that “the just live by faith” and salvation is availed to all, Jew or Gentile.
Eager, Prepared and Available
Paul writing to Christians expresses his desire to visit Rome. Paul tells the believers that they are in his prayers and that he longs to see them face to face in order to minister to them. Paul was hindered for a time from getting to Rome but he did make the trip via a Roman guard in the Book of Acts.
The Noble Servant
The letter to the Romans starts with greetings from Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ. Paul emphasizes that the grace of God thru His son Jesus is available to both Jew and Gentile.
