In the days before the global flood of Noah, and then the Tower of Babel’s judgment, there were not many hindrances to Satan’s Global Influence. Yes, the flood filtered out the wicked, but the descendants of Noah soon found a way to fall under Satan’s global influence again at Babel’s tower, which brought God’s interference to slow the spread of Global evil. Today, Satan’s global influence has returned in full force through technology and the internet. The wishes of Hell are rapidly spread throughout earth at an unprecedented speed. One particular evil is the so called “transgender identity.” Our youth are succumbing to it, and others are advocating it or at the least tolerant of it. The position of God against this evil and the evil of Satan’s influence is that the righteous stand against it and make God’s view and influence known; be the salt of the earth and light of the world for those who will repent.
A Higher Love
Telescopic Predictions
Isaiah’s prophetic predictions were near and far reaching in their fulfillment, even to the end of history. In these two chapters he tells the future concerning the doom of the Babylonia empire, the end of people of Edom as a race and the future of the Arabs. He also tells of Jerusalem’s fall. Finally he addressed the chief servant in King Hezekiah’s court, Shebna by name, his pride, his demotion and his fate. All this as though looking through a telescope into the future.
Satan’s Snacks
The Hebrew prophet Hosea was used by God to reflect the heart of God to a people determined to break God’s heart. As a loving parent who dotes over their child only to have that child grow up to turn against everything true, holy and decent. In Hosea’s case it was his wife. Today we are seeing a huge increase in children raised to love the Lord Jesus only to turn against Him as they enter their teen years, especially the girls! The sodomite activity of what Satan calls transgender, in all it darkness is turning our generation into a snack bar for Satan, who loves to gobble up souls.
Ethiopia, Egypt and Iraq
Isaiah continues prophesying about the future, even into the Kingdom Age of Christ. He does this by singling out nations involved with Judah in his day. This time it is Ethiopia, Egypt, Assyria (modern-day Iraq) and Philistia (no longer a people). It is Ethiopia, Egypt, and Iraq, that are most remarkable here. While Isaiah is telling that element in Judah who want an alliance with Ethiopia and Egypt to thwart the Assyrian aggression, God does not want it, and will instead judge them also. But Isaiah says, “in that day,” the day of Messiah’s reign on earth – the Millennial Age, these who were once enemies, will come to Jerusalem to worship Christ together.
