Paul details to Festus and King Agrippa his post-conversion Life. Festus accuses Paul of being crazy. However King Agrippa, being a believer in Old Testament prophecies, is almost convinced. Although in the end he lacks the courage to accept Paul’s challenge.
Our Unseen Friend
Israel is assured of God’s help; The LORD is Israel’s and our unseen friend. He is always working on our behalf EVEN when we are not aware of it. God also outlines the futility of idols, God states in verse 29 “Indeed they are all worthless; their works are nothing”.
Undistracted Witnessing
Undistracted, Paul gives his defense before King Agrippa. Paul recounts his encounter with the resurrected Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus and his miraculous conversion.
Our Awesome God
The LORD has no equal; as the worship song states, “Our God is an Awesome God”. Isaiah lays out in this poetic passage, the power of our God and His loving kindness to that which He has created.
Conveniently Clueless
Paul appears before Festus who will now hear his case, but he does not want to be tried by the religious leaders in Jerusalem, so Paul appeals to Caesar. Paul also gets the chance to speak to King Agrippa.
