David’s care for the ark stirred a desire to build a house for it with the prophet Nathan’s blessings. But God gently overruled Nathan in a vision, sending him back to David, redirecting his desire with great blessings.
King David brings the ark to Jerusalem but not without the death of a servant. Three month later the quest resumes and David dances before the ark and the kingdom rejoices, except for Michal who despises it all.
Assassins kill the king in Israel which brought about a united kingdom with David as king over all, but he executed the killers for their crime. Then David took Jerusalem, prospered and subdued the Philistines.
