The work that Jesus began, as recorded in the Gospels, continued after His ascension to heaven and the book of Acts tells the story of His apostles, and the first Christians, labor to spread all what Jesus began to do and teach in the strength and power of the Holy Spirit.
The first Christians were witnesses, not lawyers.
