Chased from Samuel by Saul, then departing from his dear friend Jonathan, David again goes where the godly are, the high priest. Doeg, Saul’s man, spots him. On the run, David sought refuge amongst enemies.
My Sins
When the prophet was given these words to speak to the Jews, many of them had become idolatrous. So God says to them that He alone is God not the idols and He alone can blot out their sins if they come to Him.
Hated for Nothing
Jonathan, Saul’s son, still is not accepting the fact that his father is determine to murder David. So he and David meet to plan how to confirm what David already knows. Then Jonathan learns that all is beyond them.
The Maniac Monarch
Saul’s obsession with murdering David expands. He appeals to his staff to help kill David, but Jonathan, a heroic peacemaker, tries reasoning with Saul; it fails. Saul then hunts David but is subdued by God’s Spirit.
