In the United States, Christians enjoy freedoms to worship and serve that are uncommon to most of the world, but there is a constant attack against these freedoms. The Salt & Light ministry serves to inform the body of issues in our nation and politics that are pertinent to the church. Equipped with this information, our hope is that the church will pray and be moved to action by participating in the freedoms and rights we have as citizens to vote, contact our leaders, petition and share this news with others. We seek to not become “entangled”, but to strike the right balance as informed and active Christians. Information leads to Prayer which leads to Action!
Prayer for the Nation meets once a month in corporate prayer to lift up our nation and leaders.
