These two chapters cover a wide verity of topics: Calls to repent, approaching judgments on Gentiles and Jews, the wicked in Jerusalem, the faithful remnant and finally a song of the faithful.

Zephaniah opens his prophesy to Judah with God’s promise to rid the land of those who claim to worship Him but actually they have mixed worship of false gods into the name of the only true God, thus bringing His judgments upon them.
