An invitation is given, an offer is made. Your way has been paid in advance; you just need to take hold of it. In this Old Testament passage, God sends out His invitation to ALL, not just those of Jewish birth.
Restoration of the Jews
God makes a promise of an eternal covenant of peace to His people the Jews. God uses the example of His “Wife” to help the Jewish people understand that He has not abandoned them. More promises are made to them that will be ultimately fulfilled in the millennial kingdom, God will keep His promises made to the Jews and the promises that He makes to the church.

In the Old Testament, the prophet Isaiah has recorded this; But God had planned this out before the fall in the garden.

Restoration of Israel
God foretells of the sin-bearing Servant and His deliverance for Jerusalem. The LORD’s suffering servant will be the exalted Servant and God’s plan of salvation for all people will be played out thru the rest of eternity despite the enemy’s attempts to thwart it.
